What is homogenisation?

Homogenisation is when milk is pumped at a very high pressure though a tiny screen. This “emulsifies” the fat particles to make sure that the cream doesn’t settle out at the top of the bottle.

What are we doing about our plastic footprint?

Plastic milk bottles are a big problem. Every year at least 25 million milk bottles are used in Tasmania with the vast majority going to landfill. Help us to reduce this by supporting our cafe customers, (see our stocktists area for a list of cafes near you). We offer them a recycling option whereby their milk bottles are returned and recycled for further use.
